If you has been curious about your body for quite a long time now, you are surely aware about the debate that is going on in the fitness community and this has something to do with the superiority of a particular training method than the other. There are some people who say that body weight training is more effective while some contest that weight lifting should be given more consideration. Nevertheless, there are some people who would say that they are both important.
 
Actually, there is no need for debate or any argument about the effectiveness of one method over the other. Instead of arguing, why not try to try out the two methods for you to be able to get the optimum result? There is this one fitness expert that said that different training methods are comparable to different tools that you will see inside a tool box… although you can look which one of them is the best, you will then realize that all of them works, but for different purposes so it is just up to you to choose which one to go for. With this, it is right to conclude that there are instances wherein bodyweight exercise is more superior… and there are also times when weight lifting reigns. There is no point in arguing more.
 
Although the debate can be heated, there is really no point to stir up the controversy.
 
It is up to you to look for the training method that will go with your needs, goals, and personal preference. Whatever kind you choose, no one can tell you that you are doing wrong just as long as you are not pushing yourself too far and you are not doing the wrong bodily movement.
 
Now, in case you really can’t decide which one to go for, then you can always choose to make use of the bodyweight calisthenics exercise which is a well rounded physical training program. This is a logical starting point given the fact that you will never be able to safely make use of weighted resistance in case you don’t first have the control over your body. Exhausting the body to the limit is never good after all.
 

In a nut, you can opt for any activity that you wish to as long as you start with the basic and you are comfortable with it. In the end, you will see the results that you need.
