Review:
The From Skinny to Muscular Program of Jonathan Perez is a good basic guide in muscle building and in weight gain. This is coupled with unique workout guide that will truly keep your time in the gym to a minimum level.
Unlike many of the other muscle building programs out there today, Jonathan does not give you false parody about what his program is all about, it is in 114 page manual, simple and plain as that.
Jonathan program’s main core is divided equally into two important parts.
The book’s first section tackles the complete training program and gives a full walk through to his process of thought about what really works and what does not. The following topics were included, rep speed, negatives, form, rep periods, how to warm up and a sample workout/s that you can perform.
As an addition to his workout explanation, he also provides examples of things like how to stretch, what types of exercise is best for each of your muscle groups and when to increase weight.
Jonathan’s From Skinny to Muscular Program is a lot different from other muscle building programs out there. This is the fact that Jonathan suggested minimal sets and repetitions for each workout. One better thing is the twist to his training, as it allows you a maximum muscle stimulation using minimum numbers of actual work sets.
Like many other programs out there, the From Skinny to Muscular Program does not give you a systematic diet plan that you can follow. Instead, Jonathan did give specific instructions on how you cycle calories, avoid being sucked into “protein myth” and how to equally divide and spread your daily calorie consumptions over the course of your workout days and non-workout days.
Bulking up and by eating like a horse for you to gain muscle mass and then followed by shedding the weight gained in revealing new muscles during your bulking process is the most interesting component of the program.
You will never see this method mentioned in most of the other available programs today. What is more interesting is that it really works. That is how bodybuilders such as Lou Ferrigno and Arnold Schwarzenegger used to do in the 60’s and yet it is still effective to date.
Best Recommended for: Both Beginners and Intermediates Levels, Men and Women alike, Trainers who looks for a basic program with a minimized gym time and that does not mainly rely on supplements.
