People are becoming more and more resourceful as time passed by. Gone are the days when they would think that they can exercise their body by simply going to the gym or buying expensive tools that won’t even fit your room! Nowadays, lots of workouts where invented and one of those is the stairs workout that won’t ask you to have anything but a… stairs!
This article will focus on aerobic conditioning workout. For your warm up, you can work up to 20 flights at a slow pace for about 4 to 5 minutes then you can stretch when you arrive at the top. If you are afraid about your safety, you can take the elevator to go down or simply walk down if you please. The next thing to do is to walk for more 20 flights but now at a faster pace. This can consume about 3 minutes and 45 seconds. For round 3, walk for more 20 flights at a faster rate that should last for 3 minutes and 30 seconds. For round 4, you have to walk 20 flights again at a faster rate of about 3 minutes to 15 minutes. Repeat the process but this time, it should consume you about 3 minutes only. Then, walk for 20 flights for a very fast pace which should be around 2 minutes and 30 seconds or 2 minutes and 50 seconds.
At this time, you can relax and stretch for a few minutes. If you would like to further make your workout into a strength workout, you can try taking 2 steps at a time although you need to practice care here so you don’t end up falling down.
What’s great about this workout is that you get the same benefits that you would normally enjoy while you are inside a gym but this time, you don’t even have to spend a single penny just to carry out the activity. For sure, you have a stair in your house where you can train. As a rule though, always ensure that each steps are safe for use. Don’t try to work out in a broken staircase if you don’t like the idea of suffering from broken arms later on. If you are old enough to work out, you should also be old enough to properly distinguish a safe environment from one that is not. Always remember that your safety should always come first.
