For sure, you are just one of the many people who are guilty of not giving due importance to the process of warming up. Most of us are nothing but excited fellow who are dying to try out excessive workout instantly without realizing that we are digging our own rave of failure. In case you are really one of those who just don’t like to do any warming up session, it is about time that you realize that you are doing your body lots of harms. Be reminded that a good warm up will not just prepare your body to the activity that you will do after but this will help you to lessen the risk for any kind of injury while at the same time making sure that you get improved performance.
 
It is a common notion that warming up is just the activity that people would do for about 10-15 minutes. For some, this involves working on the treadmill, on the stationary bike, or the mere act of stair climbing while at the same time doing a little stretching. However, if you really would like to perform the right process then you have to know that experts would criticize the act of warm up such as this because they believe that this is simply comparable to doing nothing at all.  Since you are thinking that you are doing things rightly, why not understand how to do them the correct manner?
 
Warming up is different from moving around, it should be something that will prepare you for a physical activity ahead. For you to know if you are doing the right one, it should be something that will raise your body temperature as well as perk up your respiratory and heart rates. It should be something that will loosen up the muscles and joints.
 
Every warm up process must start with light to medium aerobic activity. This is an activity performed at a certain pace which will allow the cardiovascular and the respiratory system to obtain the required quantity of oxygen in order to generate energy.
 
It is only after you were able to know the proper warm up process when you can start to execute the actual workout. Don’t skip any process. The moment when you are done with your workout, it is about time to do the cooling down process by performing simple activities that will encourage your body to return to its normal state.
